Yesterday I made some homemade Black sesame seed paste so that I could make some Kurogoma ice cream. But as always I made too much and had to come up with another use for it right there. Though it is delicious simply spread on toast I felt the nuttiness of the sesame might work as candy. So these black sesame toffees was the result and boy are they tasty; crunchy and not too sweet with a hint of sea salt. And the colour! Apparently they should be good for you too
